Built custom potting bench: Customer Specifications
This project called for the construction of a bench with a means of mounting a 2-Gallon bucket under the bench-top, with the ability to close the hole used for accessing the bucket. A couple design approaches were attempted for allowing a changeable tray height, that would support either a 2-Gallon or 5-Gallon bucket. A prototype bench was built in the process to test concepts. The final product for the customer was coated with polyurethane.
Below are pictures of the prototype bench. A wooden handle was used for the lid. The initial design for the bucket tray was found inadequate.
